Text Box: Greetings: President Kuperus represented our Unit in the July 4th and Water Days parades. She also participated in the Fireman’s Waterfight along with Legion Commander Dan Purkat and SAL Commander Chad Kluver. Thank you to Ashley Stai, a junior member, for being Poppy Girl in the Water Days parade. Thank you to Helen Geer, Sue Anderson, Ruby Johnson, Sandy Wersal, Mary Bilky, Sherlene Urban, Beth Lindgren, Irene Rosendahl, Naomi Johnson, Dawn & Diane Engelkes, and Bev Dresser for helping with the SAL Omelet Breakfast on Sunday, July 20th. Our Auxiliary will once again have the Antique Car Run Pancake Breakfast on Aug. 9th at Peace Church from 5:30 to 8:00 AM. Workers are needed on Friday and Saturday, August 8th and 9th. Please call Sue Anderson at 354-2904 to volunteer. Thank you to Kathleen Cloaky and Beth Lindgren for being the Fishing Derby Raffle Chairmen. All the raffle tickets were sold. Thank you to Sue Anderson for delivering clothing to the St. Cloud VA donated by George and Lorraine Majchrzak. Quilts were also delivered donated by Hope Lutheran Church which will be delivered to the Mpls Veteran’s Hospital and the St. Cloud VA. Get well wishes go to Christina Wordes. Please keep all of our veterans, military personnel, and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Have a safe summer! God bless America!
