Text Box: Greetings: It is hard to believe that summer is already half over. I hope that all had a wonderful 4th and a great water days weekend. We just completed our omelet breakfast on the 20th in conjunction with the New London water days weekend. The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful turnout. We ended up feeding over 300 people. I would like to extend a thanks to the following businesses: Sysco Foods, Apperts Foods, Golden Oval Eggs, The Big Store, and especially the New London American Legion for helping us out with this great activity. I want to also thank the SAL members and Auxiliary members who were here to help. Without all of you this couldn't have worked. We are starting membership year 2009.  Please stop by the Legion or send to New London S.A.L., P.O. Box 398, New London, MN 56273. The membership dues are going to stay the same again this year, Adults $11.00, Dual and those under 18 years of age $8.00. Our next meeting will be held on Monday August 4th at 7:00 in the Fireside room at the New London Legion.      God bless our troops that are serving our country home and abroad and our veterans.
